British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Matt skelton kept his hopes alive of a showdown with either future WBC title challenger Danny Williams or unbeaten former Olympian Audley Harrison in 2005. Skelton stopped former Williams victim Keith Long in eleven rounds. Skelton also remains unbeaten and brings his record to fifteen wins with an impressive fourteen stoppages.
Things did not go as planned for British lightweight Lee Meager as he was outpointed over ten rounds by Danny Hunt. Meager, of Mick Hennessy's stable of boxers suffers the first defeat of his career while Hunt moves his professional ledger to seventeen wins and only one loss.
