Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero has a new cutman

By Boxing Press October 18th, 2005 All Press Releases

A new addition to team Guerrero has been implemented. Veteran corner man Joe Chavez has been hired to be Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero’s cutman. Chavez has worked with some big names in boxing, James Toney, Oscar De La Hoya to name a few, and now “The Ghost” is added to his list. Having been good friends with
Guerrero’s trainer John Bray for many years, Joe says, “ I’m delighted to be part of the team. I’ve been watching Robert for some time now and I thing he has the talent and discipline to be a champion. John is a great guy and I think we will make a good team”. When asked about the latest addition to the squad John Bray stated, “Not only would it be an honor to work with legendary cutman Joe Chavez, but it would be a learning experience as well. I welcome him with open arms to the team”. The team is assembled, and the march is on.
Look for Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (16-0-1 9KO’s) to be in action Dec 2nd on Showtime, at the Indian Gaming Center in Lemoore Ca. against Gamaliel Diaz (19-5-2 9KO’S ranked #8 by the WBC). “I’m ready to take it to the next level”
