This past Friday night, at the famous Orleans Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, Cestus Management’s undefeated Super Middleweight prospect, Don “Da Bomb” George (7-0-1), won in thrilling fashion, dominating tough Julio Lanzas (3-5-1) over six heats to take a unanimous decision on a Guilty Boxing Promotion. Â “Da Bomb” brought the crowd in attendance to its feet, painting Lanzas with sharp jabs and blazing combinations. And when the rugged Calhan, Colorado native employed an aggressive style, attempting to trap George on the ropes, “Da Bomb’s” slick footwork and sidesteps maneuvered around the incoming artillery. By the fourth round, “Da Bomb” turned the intensity up and dominated the last six minutes of the contest. Once the final bell rang, both combatants received a deserved standing ovation from the appreciative crowd. Cestus Management advisor Mike Michael said, ““Da Bomb’ gave an excellent performance and we are very happy with his progress as it’s right on target. Don is getting better with every fight and he showed that he can make adjustments and win with ease. “Da Bomb” is only twenty-years-of-age and after twelve-to-fifteen months, he will emerge as a force to be reckoned with.” Michaels continues, “This kid has a ton of talent and we will take our time with him and mold him the right way. Team Cestus would also like to thank Guilty Boxing’s Nick Ratteni, Jay Hassman and Jeff Grmoja for featuring “Da Bomb” on their fight cards and we look forward to our next fight sometime in December.”
