Boxing Hall of Famer Chuck Bodak, now 89 years young will be an honored guest at Jerry Hoffman's RIOT pro boxing event on Saturday Nov. 19th at the Monterey Conference Center. Mr. Bodak has been involved in boxing as a teacher and cutman for the past 70 years, and will work one more corner for some special fighter at THE RIOT. Bodak has been involved with the careers of Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, Oscar De La Hoya and many other World Champions as a teacher and cutman.
"Chuck is a boxing legend and tremendous character. It's an honor to have him attend our show, and be available to the fans,” says promoter/matchmaker Hoffman.
Following THE RIOT in downtown Monterey, Mr. Bodak will sign autographs, pose for pictures with fans, and be part of the post fight party held at Peter B's Brew Pub. Peter B's is adjacent to the Portola Plaza Hotel, which is next to the Conference Center. Everyone is invited to meet one of boxing's living legends. THE RIOT's first bout is 7:30pm. The post fight party should begin around 11pm at Peter B's.
