Tonight in front of a hometown audience at the Cricket Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina, "The Boxing Banker" Calvin Brock outboxed seasoned journeyman David Bostice to take a unanimous decison victor on a Main Events promotion. Brock secures the vacant IBA Continental Americas belt in the process and remains undefeated at 27-0 (21). Since beating Jameel McCline in April of last year, the thirty year old former US Olympian has proved his ability to successfully navigate solid Grade B opposition but is now scheduled to meet former world title challenger David Tua in January. That assignment will likely be much more difficult and should go some way to providing answers concerning the future prospects of both Brock and Tua.
