Undefeated NABF Featherweight champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (16-0-1 9KO’s ranked #2 WBC) heads into the last week of sparring as he prepares for his battle against Gamaliel Diaz (19-5-2 9KO’s ranked #7 WBC) on Showtime Dec 2nd.
“It’s been a grueling and intense training camp to say the least. This is the last week of sparring for me, and I believe I will be prepared for war when the bell rings Dec 2nd! Freddie Roach has opened the doors to his Wild Card gym and my teacher John Bray and I really appreciate it. The sparring I get over there is second to none. Johnny has showed me his bag of new tricks and they will be on display for fight night. I just want to thank the good Lord and my entire team for all their hard work. Without them I wouldn't be where I'm at today. It takes a good team to reach the top." Robert Guerrero
Guerrero’s co-manager Bob Santo’s stated, “One of the highlights of the camp was a complement from renowned trainer Freddie Roach, when he mentioned that Robert Guerrero is ready for anybody in the world after he watched one of “The Ghost’s” sparring sessions last week. It gives us great confidence to here
those words from a man like Freddie”
John Bray who trains Robert said, “Were just working on some final preparations. The kid will spar lightly this last week. We’ll be ready to go come Dec 2nd.”
This fight will be the 3rd title (NABF) defense for the young featherweight who looks to capture a major belt early next year. Thank you and God bless from
Team Guerrero.
