Nathan Briggs has 10 rounds of boxing and Colin Wilson to overcome before he can embark on his journey onto the International stage. Briggs has stated that this next fight against Colin Wilson for the Australian Heavyweight Title means "the rest of his life to him". He has called off all work commitments and is 100% set in training and fighting mode.
Colin Wilson has held the Title for 3 years now having successfully defended against Auckland Aumatagi and also Roger Izonritie. He also has some big name scalps on his record including Jimmy Thunder, Vince Cervi and Ricky Thornberry.
The Australian Title is fought over 10 X 3 minute rounds with Wilson likely to weigh in around 115 kilos whilst Briggs will be the lighter of the two weighing close to 110 kilos.
Wilson stands at 195 cm Briggs at 193 cm and both have a reach over 200 cm.
With over 50 fights under his belt Colin Wilson has the edge in experience but a run of recent losses will not have his confidence high.
If you enjoy evenly matched fights, plenty of action, rivalry between the camps and a little bit of intrigue then this fight has it all.
