Dynamite Dean Phillips who has not boxed since an unsuccessful challenge for the Commonwealth lightweight title in November 2004 looks to get back up amongst the big hitters and shakers in the lightweight division when he meets unbeaten Southern Area champion Rob Jeffries at the York Hall in Bethnal Green on Saturday 11'th February.
Welshman Phillips who fears no-one on the domestic scene looks to get a shot at champion Graham Earl if he is impresses in his first fight under the banner of Maloney Promotions and looks to put the points loss against highly rated Kevin Bennett, when he struggling with an arm
injury, behind him.
For Phillips it will also put a frustrating 2005, when he didn't manage to get a fight, behind him and he hopes 2006 will see him achieve his ambition of becoming British lightweight champion.
The fight will take place at the York Hall on Saturday 11^th February and will see Johnny Armour on the undercard along with some of the up and coming youngsters from the Maloney stable.
