Number three ranked European Welterweight Jackson Osei Bonsu of Belgium makes his debut with Maloney Promotions when he boxes fellow countryman Zaid Bediouri over six rounds at the York Hall in Bethnal Green on Saturday 11th February.
Big-hitting Bonsu who was born in Ghana and is therefore eligible to fight for both the European and Commonwealth titles has twenty wins, eighteen of them coming by way of knockout or stoppage with just a
solitary defeat coming over three years ago on Christmas Day 2002.
Bonsu has the tag of being one of the top prospects on the World scene as well as being classed as one of the best boxers in Europe and he is looking forward to entertaining the London fans as the spiritual home of
British boxing after signing a promotional deal with the Maloney's.
The man with the intriguing nickname of 'Sugar the Ball Brains' has stopped each of his last thirteen opponents since losing to Mehidi and has picked up a national title and a couple of fringe World titles along the way.
Also on the show Dean Phillips makes his return to the ring after unsuccessfully challenging Kevin Bennett for the Commonwealth title against experienced Jon Honney.
Lee Cook and Anthony Young also appear along with professional debutants Tom Glove of Colchester and light-middleweight Paul Porter who is related to former British, European and Commonwealth flyweight
challenger Danny Porter and former Midland's Area champion Shane Porter.
