It is with great pleasure that Maloney Promotions announce the re-scheduling of the British and Commonwealth Super-Middleweight title fight between Brian Magee and Carl Froch at the Kings Hall in Belfast on the 26th May 2006.
The bicep injury that forced Froch out of the original show on the 31st March will be fully recovered by then and he is looking forward to putting on a show for the Belfast public on the 26th and shutting up Brian Magee and his team"
The Cobra does not like the way Magee's manager and namesake Pat Magee has been shouting from the roof tops about what his man is going to do to him, "My sting will carry so much venom that Magee and his team will
know that there is no place in big time boxing for them"
Brian Magee who was very disappointed at the postponment said "Nothing gives me a greater incentive than this, the way Froch has disregarded an opponent by taking what he thought was an easy fight just six weeks
before the title fight."
"I'm pleased to see the fight has been re-scheduled and I'm sure the Belfast public will give Froch a warm welcome."
Maloney Promotions and Hennessy Sports are working at the possibility of making Darren Corbett versus Steve Spartacus if this comes off it will make another great fight for the Belfast fans.
Tickets are now officially on sale online at http://www.maloneypromotions.com or via the ticket hotline on 0871 226 1508
