Sports Network Calls Off Glasgow Boxing Card

By Boxing Press March 13th, 2006 All Press Releases

Sports Network's Championship Boxing event at the Braehead Arena on Saturday 25th March has unfortunately had to been cancelled. Last week Danny Williams replaced an injured Scott Harrison, who was originally scheduled to headline the show, but the Brixton heavyweight has himself suffered an injury over the weekend whilst in training for his fight.

In light of this, promoter Frank Warren has regrettably decided to cancel the show.

As announced last week, Harrison will now defend his WBO World Featherweight title against Joan Guzman on Saturday 20th May at the Kings Hall in Belfast.

Amir Khan, who was due to have his seventh professional fight on the undercard of the Braehead show, will now be switched to the Kings Hall show.

Ticket holders for the Braehead event can get a full refund by returning the complete ticket to the original point of purchase.
