Unbeaten prospect Timur Ibragimov, fresh off a second round stoppage of Kenny Craven on March 24, will take the next step on his road to the heavyweight championship of the world when he faces highly-regarded contender Calvin Brock on Saturday, June 24th at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The show, entitled “Undefeated . . . But Not For Long”, is presented by Main Events and will be televised live on HBO Boxing After Dark beginning at 10pm ET / PT.
“This is a great opportunity for me to not only show my skills to the American viewing audience but to also beat a top ten contender in Calvin Brock,” said Ibragimov, who is currently 21-0-1, with 13 KOs.
This will be Ibragimov’s 6th title defense of his WBC Fecarbox Heavyweight title, which will be on the line in the 12 round contest. This fight will have a significant impact on the title picture in the Heavyweight division.
“I’m ready to make my move on the champions in the division, and that starts by making a statement against Brock on June 24th,” said the Uzbekistan native. “That statement will be a knockout.”
