Briggs lays it all on the line - Winner takes all $15 000
Nathan Briggs brimming with confidence leading into his Australian Title challenge scheduled for Friday night against Champion Colin Wilson has offered a "winner takes all" challenge to Wilson who quickly accepted. The fight will now have a $15 000 or ZERO outcome for the two boxers.
Briggs lost last year to Wilson after he suffered a crippling hand injury during the fight and believes this time the result will be 100% different. " I am going to move differently take a different approach and generally outsmart Colin... My fitness level is better than ever before... I am ready to go the 10 rounds and take home the title and the cash" Briggs said.
Wilson on the other hand sees the opportunity as way to double his money. " The purse was a good one but now it will be even better... He (Briggs) went down 7 times last fight, but this time I am going to drop him once and he will not get back up" Wilson said.
The fight is the main event for the Night of Champions being held at Chandler Theatre April 7 starting at 6:30 pm.
