Bay Area fans will get the long awaited opportunity to witness their rising superstar and one of boxing’s most accomplished fighters when Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (16-1-1 9KO’s) makes his Bay Area debut May 18th in San Jose Ca, at the HP Pavilion in the main event (Opponent TBA). To help promote the fight, “The Ghost” will sign autographs at the San Jose Sharks street rally Tuesday, April 25th at 6pm PST held on Autumn St. in front of the HP Pavilion. An interview will follow to address the fans, as Robert will make his way onto center ice during the first intermission of the Sharks sold out playoff game.
An eager Guerrero yearns for the opportunity to fight in front of the Bay Area fans, as it’s been a childhood dream of his to fight at the Tank. Robert wants to set the record straight regarding his last fight and only loss, a one point split decision to Gamaliel Diaz Dec 2nd 2005.
“I want to thank my promoter Dan Goossen for making it happen. Fighting for my fans in the Bay Area is what I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. I had an off night my last fight, but make no mistake about it, I’m coming back with a vengeance. I’m going to make a statement on the 18th.” -Robert Guerrero
