Bulgaria's former European super-featherweight champion Tontcho Tontchev has been added to the impressive Maloney Promotions bill at the historical York Hall on May 26th.
Tontchev will appear in a six round contest as part of his new promotional agreement with Maloney Promotions after a sensational knockout of highly-rated British lightweight Dean Phillips on his return to London earlier this month.
Tontchev will feature on the undercard of the most anticipated British super-middleweight clash since Chris Eubank fought Nigel Benn when Carl Froch takes on challenger Brian Magee for both the British and Commonwealth titles.
Maloney Promotions are also keeping their Eastern European connections strong with world rated Yuri Romanov added to the May 30th show which features the British bantamweight title fight between Martin Power and Isaac 'Argy' Ward also at the spiritual home of British boxing the York Hall in Bethnal Green.
Maloney Promotions intend to put on spectacular shows for both the armchair fan and the paying public at the two York Hall shows in May with evenly matched fights throughout the card as fans have become accustomed too at Maloney promotions shows.
