WBC and The Ring magazine lightweight champion Diego "Chico" Corrales, and his trainer Joe Goossen, will host a media workout, this wednesday at Joe Goossen's Gym in Van Nuys, CA. Corrales is training for "War To Settle The Score", the highly anticipated world lightweight title rubber match against two-time world champion Jose Luis Castillo, the new millennium's version of Tony Zale vs. Rocky Graziano. Corrales won their first fight in the consensus "Fight of the Year." Castillo returned the favor winning the sequel. Now Corrales and Castillo, considered the world's top-two lightweights, will go mano-a-mano on June 3, to settle the score in the final chapter of their amazing world championship trilogy.
Promoted by Gary Shaw Productions and Top Rank, in association with Caesars Palace and Wynn Las Vegas, Corrales vs. Castillo 3 will take place, Saturday, June 3, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Showtime Championship Boxing will broadcast it live, beginning at 9 P.M. ET / 6 P.M.
