I'm glad that the champion has woken up and if he fights as well as he counters the press releases he shouldn't have any worries. Which Maloney is he referring to on all of these comments I don't disagree that I said all of his opponents are hand-picked, if that is not the case then name a world rated opponent or even a top class British boxer on his record.
Obviously yes I did say I had a four fight deal with Magee but that is subject to Magee winning, why would I sign a boxer on a four fight deal who if he loses has nowhere to go. The four fight deal is an added incentive for Magee.
It seems that Carl forgets other points that I mention, did I not mention that you can't judge a boxer on his last performance after many were putting him down after his lacklustre performance against Dale Westerman.
Why did I say Froch is the favourite? Just look at the bookmakers and the people inside the sport are mostly backing Froch, that's why all the pressure is on Carl and not Magee.
If Carl claims I am talking trash lets hear a couple of his quotes from recent releases "I'll smoke his boots" about Joe Calzaghe " I'm a bigger name in British sport than David Beckham and Tim Henman". The trash talk is not needed for this fight, Brian Magee has sold this fight.
It's funny how all of sudden Carl wants to turn up at every press
conference we actually had to ask the BBBoC to make him attend the press conference as part of the agreement but we now feel that because of the work Brian and Pat Magee have done I feel we don't need a press conference so I don't want you to waste your time coming across London.
Well Carl if you have been dying to kick off the proceedings why when Press people phoned you for interviews were they all declined, how come now you want to kick off the proceedings.
Unfortunately as for you giving all three of us both barrels the only
person you will be fighting is Brian Magee so save the barrels, we as promoters will not be getting into the ring, we promote the show and sell the tickets which we have done without any help from yourself
The two latest press releases from Carl are quite good I hope he is
putting as much effort into his training as he does the wording of his
releases.
I'd like to finish this with a reference from the best Super-Middleweight in the World 'Hasn't Mr Froch gone quiet recently" and this isn't a quote from the modest Mr Magee, it is from the number one Super-Middleweight Joe Calzaghe.
