Mandalay Bay Results.

Tonight in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, reigning WBC lightweight champion Jose Luis Castillo retained his title with a split decision victory over Cuban southpaw and former world champion Joel Casamayor.

Scores were 117-111 and 116-112 for Castillo while one judge saw Casamayor winning by a margin of 115-113.

IBF super middleweight champion Jeff Lacy won a unanimous twelve round decision over multiple time world title challenger Omar Sheika.

Lacy took the decision by margins of 115-113 on two cards and 117-111 on the other.

In the nights heavyweight attraction, Nigeria's undefeated prospect Samuel Peter exploded onto the heavyweight scene with a devastating second round knockout of Jeremy Williams.
