Hopkins - Tarver Boxing Showdown Heats Up

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa today announced the schedule of events for Fight Week, June 6-10, which will culminate Saturday night, June 10th, with "Fight To The Finish", the 12 round, light heavyweight championship bout between light heavyweight king Antonio Tarver and undisputed middleweight great Bernard Hopkins.

The event will be presented by Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, along with Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions, at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City and will be broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View, beginning at 9pm (ET) / 6pm (PT).

Fight Week highlights include “Battle at Borgata,” an evening of six professional bouts to be televised on ESPN2 on Wednesday, June 7th at the Borgata Event Center. “Battle at Borgata” will feature a main event between Demetrius Hopkins vs. Michael Warrick.

MIXX, Borgata’s nightclub, will host two of the week’s most anticipated events. Jeremy Piven and Oscar de la Hoya will host a pre-fight party on June 9 featuring the sounds of DJ Ad Rock, and Nick Lachey will host a post-fight party on June 10th featuring DJ Jus Ske.

"Fight Week is set to be one of the most exciting events Borgata has brought to Atlantic City," said Larry Mullin, president and chief operating officcer for Borgata. "We are thrilled to partner with Star Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions to present one of the biggest fights Atlantic City has seen. This event strengthens Borgata's reputation as the premier East cost entertainment destination."

Doors for Tarver vs. Hopkins Championship Boxing on June 10th open at 6:30 PM. Tickets for the Tarver vs. Hopkins "Fight To The Finish" are priced at $750, $600, $400, $200, $100 and $50, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations by calling 800-736-1420 or at http://www.ticketmaster.com/ .
