HBO Sports is presenting a thirty-minute special analyzing the upcoming HBO World Championship Boxing telecast between Jermain Taylor and Winky Wright in perhaps the most anticipated showdown of 2006. The live HBO telecast of the 12-round battle for Taylor’s title in the middleweight division is set for Saturday, June 17 in Memphis.
The special "Countdown To Taylor - Wright" which will feature fighter profiles, expert analysis and forecasts for the 160-pound showdown in Memphis, will premiere Saturday night, June 3 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on the main HBO service. HBO will replay the special Monday, June 5 at 11:30 a.m. and 11:15 p.m; Tuesday, June 13 at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 17 at 12:00 noon. All times are ET/PT.
The countdown special will also be available to HBO ON DEMAND subscribers 24 hours a day from Monday, June 5 thru Monday, June 19.
