Ex-world title challenger Eric Harding put his NABF Light Heavyweight title at risk against the undefeated prospect "Bad" Chad Dawson last night in Santa Ynez, California. Despite Harding having only five more bouts under his belt than Dawson, the Philadelphia southpaw had so much more experience going to this bout that many predicted an experience building loss for "Bad Chad". Things looked to be going towards that expectation when Dawson had to pull himself off the canvas in the very first round but the twenty three year old lefty turned the tables on Harding and proceeded to batter the older fighter over most of the next eleven rounds to take a unanimous decision win and the NABF belt. Dawson graduates to contender status and improves to 23-0 (15) while Harding, 23-4-1 (7), suffers another setback.
