continue to fight towards the next Olympic games in 2008. However, the current amateur boxing organization in England is in absolute turmoil with a distinct lack of funding being a great concern to all and Khan was almost allowed to fight for another country when England's amateur boxing association ruled him too young to compete in Athens. Thankfully the British boxing establishment was able to secure Khan's services and his fame in the country is overwhelming. Promoter Frank Warren has already made attempts to secure Khan's signature on a professional deal but the teenager from Bolton remains in limbo concerning the direction he will take in the next four years.
