Bad Intentions? Or Really Bad Intentions? From Team Soliman

By Boxing Press August 3rd, 2006 All Press Releases

Immediately after Taylor-Hopkins II, Lou DiBella, promoter of Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor, states "Taylor's next fight will be in Little Rock (Ark) against a bum." That scenario doesn't play out, instead Taylor fights Winky Wright.  Immediately after that fight, DiBella upgrades his previous "bum" statement by telling the world his fighter really had bad intentions and will fight no one more significant than "Bozo the Clown."

Hagler, Duran, Leonard would be ashamed of such comments.  After seeing his remarks had bad intentions written all over them, DiBella than does the unthinkable – he then takes his prize possession in Taylor and proposes a matchup with a "Contender?" that hasn't gone beyond 8 rounds in his professional career, not because he knocks everyone out, but because he's an 8-round fighter (barely)!

Now when you thought it couldn't become more comical, DiBella in his infinite wisdom announces that Taylor could next face Giovanni Lorenzo?  Giovanni Lorenzo?  Opera singer?  Italian movie star?  Pick one of the above, because he is no where to be found in any of the ratings of the four major sanctioning bodies!  And in today's world, that's a pretty hard feat to accomplish.

Its pretty simple Jermain on how to resolve your dilemma. Your next opponent should be your promoter, Lou "DiJoker" DiBella.

On August 18, 2006 right in beautiful Sergio Mora country, Sam "King" Soliman will fight 24-2, Enrique Ornelas on ESPN at the Pechanga Resort & Casino.  Please tune-in and understand why Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor has really bad intentions and would prefer to fight Bozo, rather than stepping into the ring with the King, Sam Soliman.
