An interesting fight will take place tonight at the Pechanga Hotel and Casino in California, USA when former heavyweight champion Michael Moorer takes on fromer IBF cruiserweight champion Vassiliy Jirov. Moorer has proved to be rather unsuccessful in his comeback attempts such as being knocked cold by David Tua in quick time whereas Jirov has found some success since finding his way to the heavyweight class from the cruiserweight division. Jirov was invovled in the infamous fight that saw former contender Joe Mesi seriously injured and possibly now permanently retired from boxing. In the main support bout, featherweights Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero and Cesar Figueroa collide for the NABF championship.
