Ricky Hatton has been invited to the international boxing hall of fame in canastota on wednesday 13th september for a fundraising reception on behalf of the the hall of fame. Ricky will be guest of honour and was personally invited by the President of the hall of fame Ed Brophy. Travelling with Ricky will be his promoter Dennis Hobson of Fight Accademy.
Ricky will travel over to the hall of fame before he visits his old friend marco antonio barrera on the 16th september for barrera's rematch with rocky juarez.
It is also anticipated that Ricky and Dennis will visit the location for Ricky's next fight in the USA and an official announcement on the opponent and venue will be made. Favourite location at the moment appears to be December 9th in Atlanta, Georgia.
