The Best young talent in Philadelphia Boxing

By Boxing Press August 26th, 2006 All Press Releases

Former Heavyweight Champion “Terrible” Tim Witherspoon, in association with Fingerspoon Promotions, presents REDEMPTION. In a night that is sure to be, one of the best nights in Philadelphia Boxing, Undefeated Chazz Witherspoon 13 – 0 (7KO’s) will attempt to keep his streak going under the lights of the National Guard Armory in NE Philadelphia. “The Gentleman” is coming off a brilliant defeat of Mike Alexander on Showtime Television. Chazz is the future of the Heavyweight division, and he intends on taking his fight, to anyone that stands in his way. He may be a gentleman, but in the ring, he is the most explosive Heavyweight to come out of Philadelphia, since his cousin Tim put on a pair of gloves. A golden Gloves Champion, and a former Olympian, he is sure to follow his uncle’s steps, right to the heavyweight championship of the world. If having one of the biggest Heavyweight prospects on the card isn’t enough, this night will feature one the best kept “secrets” in Philadelphia Boxing. His name is Simon “One Punch” Carr 3- 0 (2KO’s). With only a few fights under his belt, his reputation in the ring has already begun to turn the heads with fans and fighters alike. He lost both his parents young. Shuffled between homes, he was always on the move, and also involved in more than a few unorganized schools fights. His talent was noticed, even at that level, but his career was severely sidelined by a tragic mistake, that took away 8 years of his life to prison. This man has anvil in his punch, and Redemption in his heart.

Also appearing is Tyrone Brunson. 12 – 0 (12KO’s). You may be looking at the next Bernard Hopkins with this tough middleweight. His record says it all. Every single fight he has had, ended in the FIRST round by KO. Tyrone is all business, and brings it all to every fight. The night again, reaches deep, and again brings you another undefeated Light Heavyweight prospect, in Max Alexander 11 – 0 2 (KO’s). When this much unbridled talent, is put under one roof, it is bound to be a precursor, for one memorable night of fighting.
