Sharp punching British lightweight Steven Bell has been hard at work preparing for his
rematch with seasoned southpaw spoiler Daniel Thorpe, toiling under the watchful eye of former two time WBU Middleweight Champion Anthony Farnell in the Manchester gym of "The Warrior".
Bell, 8-0-2 (2), who as an amateur was a double ABA Champion and Captain of the England Team for many years, counts a win over former Commonwealth Gold Medallist Haider Ali as the high point of his professional career to date.
The lanky 31 year old is also an acclaimed actor who has appeared in both feature films and popular TV shows in the UK such as Shameless and Hollyoaks. But Bell knows that his upcoming opponent Daniel Thorpe, 19-52-3 (19), won't be following any script during their clash, set to take place on the undercard of Clinton Woods' IBF Light Heavyweight title defense against former champion Glen Johnson this Saturday at the Reebok Centre in Bolton, England.
