WBO Junior Featherweight Champion and current Golden Boy Promotions fighter Daniel Ponce De Leon has re-signed a multi-fight deal/multi-year deal with Golden Boy Promotions.
“Golden Boy Promotions is committed to the success of Daniel Ponce De Leon and we are very pleased that he has decided to remain in the Golden Boy family. At Golden Boy Promotions we believe in transparency and I believe that Daniel re-signing is a indication that we are doing things the right way.” said Golden Boy Promotions, President, Oscar de la Hoya.
Said Daniel Ponce de Leon “I knew that my contract was due to expire and I had no doubts about re-signing. I feel completely satisfied with my relationship with Golden Boy Promotions. Their openness and honesty lets me know that they are looking out for my best interest.”

Daniel Ponce De Leon 27-1 (25 KOs), who was born in Cuauhtemoc, Mexico is a hard punching southpaw who is a native member of the Tarahumara Indian tribe of northern Mexico. He is known for his very aggressive style proving that he is a modern warrior in the ring.
