The female World Champions are coming to Magdeburg. Alongside the World Champion and the “Queen of women’s boxing” Regina Halmich there will be spotlight boxing World Champion Ina Menzer, Universum World Champion Alesia Graf (Jr. Bantamweight) as well as the unbeaten Julia Sahin (Jr. Flyweight) and Susi Kentikian (Flyweight) in order to defend their titles.

What do you want more? The boxing night is a special moment for Regina Halmich. “When I heard some information about this event, I said: great, finally this happens! This is an important step for us to headline the Universum Champions Night. I have reached my goals with this event and furthermore this will be another fight in Magdeburg.”

In her 53rd fight as a pro, Regina Halmich defends her Flyweight World title against the 28 year old challenger Ria Ramnarine from Trinidad & Tobago. Her record as a pro: 14 fights with 10 wins.

"I have seen a few videos of Ria Ramnarine: she is good, probably not in technical way but she is doesn’t give up. She has beaten the American Yvonne Caples, who I fought in 2002 and beat with a marginal decision, for the WIBA Mini Flyweight title. I am warned but perfectly prepared.”

Halmich has won 50 of her fights, only lost 1 and has 1 draw. For her it is the 4th time since 2005 that she in on the card in the Bördelandhalle in Magdeburg: “I really enjoyed coming here and fight in front of this awesome crowd.”
