In one of the featured bouts Watsonville’s own Carina Moreno, the reigning NABF Jr. Flyweight Champion will take on the dangerous and undefeated Valerie Rix of Sanford, Florida in a six round Non-Title bout.

Valerie Rix, at 19 years of age brings an unblemished record of {4-0-1} into this bout and possesses a balanced blend of speed, skill and youthful exuberance. In this game you cannot afford to overlook any opponent. But let me finish by saying that Carina Moreno is a special talent and the sky truly is the limit for this young lady.” Stated Christian Printup, Tachi Palace Director of Entertainment and Co-Promoter of Thursday’s Event.

The Moreno vs Rix bout is scheduled for Six Rounds. The weigh-in’s are tomorrow, at 5PM in Lemoore at The Den Sports bar inside the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino.
