Undefeated "Desert Storm" Timothy Ray Bradley Jr. weighed in tonight at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario for his main event fight against Alfonso "Poncho" Sanchez. "I was not expecting to fight at 147 lbs. but I'll make my opponent pay for that. I was the WBC Youth champ at that division so I have no problem in facing a bigger guy," said Bradley after Sanchez' camp informed the promoter that he was having difficulties making the weight stipulated originally.
Sanchez weighed in at 149.5 while Bradley made 146.5. "This is the heaviest opponent Timothy has faced," said matchmaker Alex Camponovo. "It makes no difference, Bradley is ready for war and he looks sharp as usual," said Camponovo after the weigh in.
Also tonight, Thompson Boxing signed Colombian future star Yonnhy Perez to a long-term promotional contract. Perez who already has an impressive undefeated record of 6-0, 5 KOs will face Arturo Bracamontes in a six round battle and will debut as a Thompson Boxing Promotions athlete.

Perez started boxing at the age of 8 years old in his hometown of Cartagena, Colombia. He accumulated an astonishing amateur record of 247 wins with only 17 losses and represented his country in many world amateur tournaments throughout Europe, Asia and South America.
