SaddoBoxing was invited to photograph WBO Heavyweight Champion Sergei Liakhovich as he engaged in some heavy duty sparring in preparation to his much anticipated showdown with knockout artist and former world title challenger Shannon "The Cannon" Briggs on a Don King promotion to be televised by Showtime on November 4 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.
As can be seen from the laceration under the eye, Liakhovich is training at full throttle for his upcoming clash with the hammer fisted Briggs, who has knocked out 41 of 47 victims and stopped his last eleven opponents.
Briggs has promised to knock out the WBO Champion as well but Liakhovich is clearly preparing to do the same to his veteran rival in what is turning out to be a must-see bad blood grudge match.
