On the heels of the Dr. Theodore Atlas Dinner on Thursday night, boxing trainer and ESPN fight analyst Teddy Atlas continues the huge humanitarian efforts in memory of his father on Saturday morning, November 18, when the Atlas Foundation distributes 14,000 pounds of food – turkeys with all the trimmings – to Staten Island’s less fortunate families and organizations at PS 35. The Foundation is sponsoring the Thanksgiving dinners with $20,000 in funding.
It is a site to behold as Teddy and his staff of volunteers unloads the bountiful foodstuff, and distributes it to those in need.
