announced a number of changes to the line up: Scott Lawton now faces, the veteran of 115 professional bouts and former British title challenger, Karl Taylor from Birmingham. Cobridge’s Danny Johnston scheduled to meet Zahoor Hussain will now enter the ring against Martin Marshall of Sunderland. Marshall’s record of 5 wins 7 losses and 2 draws suggests that he is unlikely to upset the local man. Aaron Thomas of Alsager has finally been matched against Ben Hudson of Cambridge. Hudson last visited the Kings Hall in November 2005 when he was beaten on points by Scott Lawton on Impact Boxing’s inaugural event. The other bouts remain unchanged.
Mick Carney of Impact Boxing said: “Of course the Edwards/Robinson clash is the main event and I am thoroughly looking forward to it. They are both busy boxers and I expect them to put on a fantastic display for the fans. Having said that we also have some other mouth-watering bouts and I am anticipating yet another great night of entertainment. There are some tickets remaining and we will make these available on the door.”
