At the Hermitage Leisure Centre, Whitwick, Leicestershire, Sunday – Clifton Mitchell Promotions hosted another bumper afternoon of boxing which headlined three title fights.

Louis Norman of Shepshed retained his English Flyweight Title by scoring a draw via a split decision with Birmingham’s Don Broadhurst.

Prince David Davis of Ilkeston won the vacant BBBofC Midlands Area Middleweight when Marc Ketnor of Huncote retired at the end of the sixth round citing a hand injury.

And, Jahmaine Smyle of Leicester won the vacant British Masters Super-Middleweight Title over Ryan Clarke of Navenby, after Referee Rob Chalmers stopped the contest in round eight.

The show billed as ‘Clash of the Titans’ also featured the return of former British, Commonwealth and European Champion – Esham Pickering of Newark. Sadly, his first fight after a four year break did not end in victory. Pickering was outpointed by Craig Poxton of Lowestoft 39-38 in a four round Featherweight contest.
