Ireland’s rising bantamweight star, Ryan Burnett (4-0, 3 KO’s) will return to the ring on November 22, 2014 as part of the ‘Return of the Crazy Gang’ boxing event at the Devendish Complex in Belfast.

Burnett relocated to London over the summer and has established a new team around him to progress his boxing career and hone his boxing skills.

The young 22 year old was elated to sign up with accomplished and successful boxing manager and trainer Adam Booth in September.

Burnett commented ‘I have bonded really well with Adam, he is totally professional and I am learning all the time in the gym, I cannot wait to get back in the ring and get my career back on track.’

Another key member of the team is Simon Stainer, Director of Horsham Stone & Reclamation Ltd, West Sussex. Simon is a keen boxing fan and is delighted to be involved in sponsoring Ryan’s boxing career and is looking forward to a bright future for the young boxing star.

Ryan started boxing at the age of nine and had a distinguished amateur career winning a host of County, Provincial, National and Multi-Nation Championships and Tournaments. The pinnacle of his amateur career was winning a gold medal at the Olympic Youth Games in Singapore in August 2010.

As an amateur Burnett boxed for both the Belfast Kronk Boxing Gym and Holy Family Golden Gloves Boxing Club and also boxed on numerous occasions for Ireland on the international stage.

The talented Belfast fighter has all the tools and potential to rise to the top of the sport and is hungry to learn and succeed.

Adam Booth commented ‘Ryan is a young energetic and skilful fighter and the potential to go far in boxing. He is an ideal pupil who listens and learns quickly and I am looking forward to seeing his success in the ring unfold in the years ahead.’

Andy Lee another Irish fighter at the Boxing Booth Gym is good stable mate of Ryan and is an inspiration and role model.
