Boxing News: Lucky Eagle Casino Announces Fight Night 55

Hall of Fame promoter Bennie Georgino always has the Northwest’s most exciting boxing cards and Fight Night 55 is no exception. Popular favorites Reggie Davis, Dumont Welliver, and Eloy Perez return to the Lucky Eagle Casino on February 10th at 7pm.

Davis will face an experienced Nelson Estupinan from Delicias, Mexico who is 11-3 with 8 knockouts, in the 10 round main event. Davis is 16-3 with 8 knockouts and recently won a 10 round TKO over Welliver. The Davis vs. Welliver matchup has taken place three times since 2004 with Davis winning all three 10 rounders. Estupinan recently lost a close unanimous decision to Hector Camacho Jr., who boasts a 39-1-1 record.

Eloy Perez, formerly from Rochester, Washington and now residing in Salinas, CA, boasts a 6-0-1 unbeaten record. Perez has won the fans “favorite fighter” every time he has fought at the Lucky Eagle Casino and will face Mexico’s Juan Carolos Martinez in an eight round semi main event. Martinez is 11-4 with 4 KO’s.

Dumont (Dewey) Welliver will face Miguel Ruiz in the six round undercard. Welliver has 16 wins and 5 knockouts while the experienced Ruiz is 25-17-2 with 7 knockouts.

Lyle Johnson vs. Todd Kuhnhausen, 4 rd. Rematch
Roland Graham vs. Ron Simmons, 4 rds. Heavyweights

Tickets $45, $35, $25 at Ticketmaster, casino (800-720-1788) or Twin Cities Fuller’s stores. Fighters are subject to change and contract approval by the Washington State Boxing Commission.
