The obligatory war of words that appears to plague potentially big fights involving Ricky Hatton has escalated between Hatton's camp and that of current IBF light welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu. Tszyu's camp have fired back at assertions from Hatton's promoter in England, Frank Warren, that Tszyu will have to receive considerably more incentive than the five million plus dollars offered to him to take a fight with Hatton in Manchester. Apparently, the Tszyu camp have a problem with Tszyu having to fight in Manchester, England which, due to the time difference between the UK and the US would mean that the fight would have to begin at around 4-5 am in the morning. Strong rumors are circulating the boxing world that the deal for the fight which looked strong at one point, is very close to being completely abandoned by all parties. Stay tuned for more details on this situation as they happen.
