Boxing Legend Muhammad Ali Featured In Rumble In The Jungle Replay

By Boxing Press March 2nd, 2007 All Press Releases

On Sunday, March 18, the Muhammad Ali Center will host “Rumble Replay” – a fundraiser featuring the famous “Rumble in the Jungleâ„¢” Muhammad Ali vs. George Foreman fight held in Kinshasa, Zaire shown in its entirety with round by round insights and stories from Ali’s trainer Angelo Dundee. Hear for the first time what were both Dundee and Ali’s fight strategies in how Dundee was coaching Ali between rounds leading up to the stunning eighth round TKO.

“This event provides an exceptional opportunity to relive the fight that not only epitomizes Ali’s dedication and confidence in the ring, but demonstrates the true heart of a champion,” says Mike Fox, President and CEO of the Muhammad Ali Center. “This rare glimpse into the past will allow those in attendance to experience one of Ali’s greatest boxing triumphs and to witness the reunion of this dynamic duo in Ali’s corner.”

The “Knock-out” Brunch and Show will begin at 11:30 a.m. in View Pointe Hall (Level 6) with a special Pre-event held at 11 a.m. for those who purchase tickets at the Gold level. The Pre-event will include a “meet and greet” with Muhammad Ali and Angelo Dundee as well as a photo opportunity.

Tickets are $1,000 for the Gold level (includes Pre-event, meet and greet, photo opportunity, and “Knock-out” Brunch and Show), and $500 for the Silver level (includes “Knock-out” Brunch and Show). Tickets may be purchase by calling (502) 992-5334 or e-mailing events@alicenter.org. All proceeds benefit the Muhammad Ali Center, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization located in Louisville, Kentucky.
