Mike Gonazalez vs. Jaime Alvarado Headlines 8 Count Boxing Card This Saturday

By Boxing Press April 5th, 2007 All Press Releases

Mike Gonzalez will face Mexican Jaime Alvarado in the main event this Saturday at Rumble In Par A Dice 2007, an outstanding evening of world class professional boxing presented by Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions at the Par A Dice Casino in Peoria, IL.

Speaking from his home in Milwaukee, the Puerto Rican native Gonzalez stated, “I’ve been training since mid February and I’m in very good shape. I haven’t seen Alvarado fight but I’m going in with a very solid game plan and I’m confident that I’ll be successful.

I know in his last fight he fought Jorge Paez Jr. for six tough rounds, so I’m prepared for a very solid battle.”

In closing Gonzales stated, “The fans at the Par A Dice were great, it’s a first class place to fight. Put a Puerto Rican like me in with a Mexican and they should get what they came for.”

Said Pesoli, “Mike’s great to deal with, a true professional. Always in shape, always on time and always ready to fight. Fans in Peoria and Chicago have really taken to him as one of their favorites. We’re very happy to bring him back to the Par A Dice Hotel and Casino on Saturday night.”

Gonzales bring a record of 9-0-1 (8KO’s) into the fight while Alvarado, fighting out of Fort Wayne, Indiana carries a record of 7-5-2 (4KO’s).
