Spotlight Shines on Guerrero and Ward.

By Boxing Press January 8th, 2005 All Boxing News, Press Releases

The newly crowned NABF featherweight champion, Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (14-0-1, 7KOs), and Andre Ward (1-0, 1KO), the only US Olympic gold medalist from the 2004 Games in Athens, will be featured on Youth Outlook TV every Sunday in January on the WB20 (check your local listings). After capturing the NABF featherweight title against his stiffest test, Cesar Figueroa (28-5-2 20KOs) last month, Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero’s stock has sky rocketed. Look for the Ghost to fight early and often in 2005 as he continues his quest for the title and featherweight supremacy.

Gold Medalist Andre Ward’s, next bout will be against unbeaten Kenny Kost (7-0, 4KOs) at The Palace Indian Gaming Center in Lemoore, CA Feb. 10, 2005.
Andre got his fire lit after an impressive knockout victory in his pro debut
televised on HBO with his next bout being televised nationally on the
highly rated Best Damn Sports Show Period on FSN.

Robert and Andre talk about their faith in God and how it pertains to their lives and boxing careers. Both fighters, who are Goossen Tutor Promotions running mates, proudly carry the weight of the Bay Area on their back and look to have legendary careers. 2005 will be one of many great years to come, in the lives of undefeated boxing phenom, Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero and Olympic Gold Medalist Andre Ward.
