Sturm Set for March Fight.

By Boxing Press January 10th, 2005 All Boxing News

Former WBO middleweight world champion Felix Sturm is set to return to the ring in March against an opponent yet to be determined at the Wilhelm-Dopatka-Halle, Leverkusen, Küppersteg in his native Germany. Since losing his world title to Oscar de la Hoya last year, Sturm has gathered himself the WBO intercontinental middleweight title. However, Sturm has only faced mediocre opposition since the De La Hoya fight in Robert Frazier and Hassine Cherifi who are both considered to be past their best. We will keep you updated as to the opponent situation for Sturm to see if he can begin to capitalize on the level of fame he achieved from that notorious decision loss to De La Hoya last year.
