Peter Manfredo made a succsessful comeback last night at the Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, RI as the "Pride of Providence" proved too much for opponent Ted Muller, stopping the Illinois man at 1:19 of round nine. Manfredo moves to 24-7 (13) while Muller drops to 19-11-2 (9).
In other action on the bill, heavyweight Jason Estrada moves to 9-1 (1) with a wide six round points decision over hardened Philly veteran Robert Hawkins, who drops to 21-9 (7).
Jimmy Burchfield's CES Promotions presented the action which will be televised on NESN, Sunday, May 20, 7 PM/ET, and on Cox Sports, Saturday, May 19 9:30 PM/ET.
