It is incredible to think that a twelve-fight novice should have to negotiate his way through a comeback period at this stage of his career, but this is the scenario facing former IBO cruiserweight title challenger David Haye. Londoner Haye was knocked out in five rounds by aging champion Carl Thompson last year. Haye will fight British fight scene regular Garry Delaney in a heavyweight contest; the fight will be Haye's second competitive start since losing to Thompson. The British cruiserweight scene is currently buzzing thanks to the likes of WBU champion Enzo Maccarinelli, WBO champion Johnny Nelson, the IBO's Thompson and it is hoped that Haye will be able to find his way back into top contention.
