Chicago based lightweight world champion David Diaz and his wife Tanya welcomed their second son, Elias Armando to the world on Friday, May 18 at 2:40pm.
Elias, joining his two year old brother David, came into the world weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces and is 20.5 inches long. Both Elias and his mother are doing great.
Diaz is currently training for his lightweight world championship bout against Erik Morales on August 4 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, just outside of Chicago.
