Risum Boxing’s Danish fighters, Fawaz Nasir (11-1, 6 KOs) and Kim Poulsen (4-1, 1 KO) were originally supposed to start their summer break after their last bouts on May 12 in Oranienburg, Germany, where both recorded easy victories.
But both have now expressed a desire to have one more fight before laying back a little, and manager Henrik Risum is working on accommodating them:
“We are working on setting something up for Kim and Fawaz in July, and hopefully everything will be finalized soon. I don’t know if they will box on the same show somewhere, or how things will pan out, but it looks like they will both box for sure in July,” says Risum, who co-manages Nasir with Fight Production in Germany.
And Germany will probably be the destination, at least for Nasir:
“Fawaz has build a decent reputation in Germany after his good performance against Sebastian Zbik in February, and knockout victories in other fights there, so this is obviously something we want to take advantage of,” finishes Risum.
Risum Boxing hopes to be able to reveal exact details soon about the next fights for Nasir and Poulsen.
