
Sadness and tears turned into smiles and renewed faith when more than twenty Mexican champions visited the children’s pavilion at the “La Raza” Hospital in Mexico City leaded by THE WBC CARES program and President Jose Sulaiman.
All time Idols Ruben Olivares, Pipino Cuevas, Jesus Castillo, Lupe Pintor, Carlos Montes, Daniel Zaragoza, Humberto Gonzalez, female Boxing Figures like Laura Serrano and Ana Maria Torres joined with Jose Antonio Aguirre, Rudy Lopez, the newly crowned Edgar Sosa and Rafael Marquez to bring joy for more than 300 children going through intensive medical treatments living for them encouragement and new faith to “Get up from the canvas” and keep fighting, which was the message left by the Champions.
The WBC will continue with this children care program in Mexico and all over the world.
