Sycuan Ringside Promotions’ teenage super lightweight Jorge Paez Jr. returns to the ring Friday, June 29, when he faces Hector Rodriquez in a six-round bout in Mexicali, Mexico.
The 19-year-old Paez Jr. has a record of 14-1 with nine knockouts and is coming off a first-round knockout of Eduardo Rosario May 12 in Nogales, Mexico.
Paez is fighting in his hometown for the second time in six months.
Rodriguez, from Los Mochis, Mexico, lists a record of 1-2-1 with one knockout, that win coming in his most recent outing May 11.
Paez Jr. is the son of former International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organization featherweight champion Jorge Paez.
