Punchout at the Pepsi Center “No Mercy,” scheduled to be held August 11 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, has been postponed, Silverhawk Championship Boxing vice president Jeff Grmoja announced.
Punchout at the Pepsi Center “No Mercy” was to feature four-time world champion Stevie “Lil’ But Bad” Johnston (41-4-1, 18 KOs), returning to fight in his hometown against Rolando Reyes (28-4-2, 18 KOs) for the vacant IBO and Johnston’s IBA lightweight titles, in the 12 round main event.
IBA & NBA light welterweight champion Adrian “Juanito” Mora (19-0-1, 11 KOs) was slated to defend his title belts against Ricky Quiles (39-8-3, 8 KOs) in the 12 round co-feature.
“We decided to postpone our show at the Pepsi Center on August 11th due to scheduling conflicts and other considerations,” Grmoja said. “We had two great title fights scheduled and we fully intend to re-schedule the event as soon as possible.”
