Parsons, TN – TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions announced today that Thursday Night Fights, scheduled for August 30, 2007 at the Decatur County Convention Center, located at the Decatur County Fair Grounds, will be the first of four scheduled professional boxing events set for Parsons, Tennessee. The four-fight series will run throughout the remainder of the year. This show will help raise money for Crystal Sollis.
Thursday Night Fights will feature professional boxing at its finest. It will showcase young up and coming fighters and soon to be announced Main and Co-Main events.
Several young prospects are scheduled to appear including Heavyweight Detroy “The Destroyer” Jones 1-0 (1 KO), Light Heavyweight DeMarcus “The Main Event” Clark 1-1 (1 KO), and Phillip “Sweet n Low” Lars 1-1 (1 KO).
Local bragging rights are at stake when Glen Hayes battles Jonathan Bruce in a Light Heavyweight bout and Kelsey Arnold goes against Gary Britt in a clash of Heavyweights.
A total of eight bouts are scheduled, including soon being announced Main and Co-Main Events.
